Today I am sharing a card we made at my August 2016 FMN class featuring the Flourishing Phrases stamp set.
The inside of the card has a fun spinner. I learned this cool fold from Dawn Griffith.
To create the inside spinner I started with a piece of 9 1/2″ x 3 3/8″ Whisper White cardstock that was scored at 1″ , 2 3/4″ and 4 1/2″.
I folded the cardstock on the 2 3/4″ line and then used the Layering Circles framelits to cut a half circle thru both layers.
I stamped the greeting on 2 pieces of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock and punched them out with the 1 3/4″ circle punch. I adhered these together sandwiching a doubled piece of metallic thread in the center of the 2 circles.
I used Glue Dots to adhere the thread along the inside of the 2 3/4″ line. Be sure to pull the thread snug from side to side.
Pinch the fold closed making sure the thread is securely caught in the glue dots.
Hope You Enjoy,
