Today I am sharing the fabulous bottle tag we made at my annual stamp party. I just love how festive this tag is.
The tag base is cut 8 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ in shimmer white cardstock (love this cardstock!). You can get 4 tags out of one 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock. I scored one end in 2 3/4″ and then punched a hole with the 1 1/4″ circle punch.
Next I adhered a 5 3/4″ x 2″ strip of the Holidays Fancy Foil Vellum to the tag front. Tip: If you put your adhesive behind the red stripes it wont show thru on the front.
I used the Triple Banner punch to create the banner flag in the 2 3/4″ x 1″ piece of Silver Glimmer paper and then adhered to the tag front with snail adhesive.
I adhered a large Silver Metallic doily to the tag front with dimensional dots.
I punched a piece of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper with the Flower Medallion punch and adhered it to the center of the Metallic Doily with dimensional dots.
I cut 1″ strips of Red Foil paper and punched out the pieces to create a bow. Click here to see a video on how to assemble the bow. Once I had my bow together I adhered it to the top of the Metallic Doily with mini glue dots.
To create the red shimmer ring I punched a 1 1/4″ circle in the middle of a 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ piece of Red Glimmer paper. I then punched again using the 1 3/4″ scallop circle punch to create the ring. I adhered this, centering over the hole in the tag, with mini glue dots.
I stamped my greeting in Versamark ink and embossed with Silver Powder. I cut the greeting out with the Bitty Banners framelits with the Big Shot & Magnetic Platform. I adhered this to the tag front with mini glue dots. I find when working with the Glimmer paper you need a big more strength/depth in your adhesive due to the texture of the surface of this particular type of paper.
I used the Christmas Greeting thinlits with the Big Shot & Magnetic Platform to cut the Merry out of the Red Glimmer paper. I adhered it to the tag front with the liquid adhesive. Tip: I tend to get very sticky when using the liquid adhesive so I found if I set it in place and leave it alone to dry for a few minuets that my results are much better and I am not as sticky.
I added a couple silver sequins from the Metallic Sequin Assortment pack to the tag with liquid adhesive to finish it off.
Do you love it?
Hope You Enjoy,
