Today I am sharing a lovely fall card featuring the awesome Rooted In Nature stamp set and coordinating dies.
This project was inspired by one created by Connie Collins. I just loved all the detail in the layers and had to give this one a try.
Did you notice the subtle colors showing through the leaves. This was created by applying Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight ink to the Soft Suede cardstock with a dauber. This turned out much better than I had expected.
The Stampin’ Blends were perfect to change the color of the Rhinestone Jewels to compliment the project.
Do you bring your design to the inside of your cards? I think it really adds a nice touch.
Card Layers:
- 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Early Espresso
- 5=1/4″ x 4″ DSP
- 3-1/2″ x 3″ Very Vanilla- die cut
- 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ Soft Suede cardstock- stamp/die cut
- 3-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ Very Vanilla cardstock- emboss/die cut
- 2-1/2″ x 6″ Soft Suede cardstock- emboss/die cut
- 2″ x 7″ Soft Suede cardstock- stamp/die cut
- 5-1/4″ x 4″ Very Vanilla (inside)
