Today I am sharing the Bonus card my qualified guests got to make at my September 2016 FMN class. This cool technique/card was inspired by Melissa Kerman.
I started with a piece of 4 7/8” x 3 5/8” piece of Whisper White cardstock and wrapped it in aluminum foil.
Next drag your Staz-On black ink pad along the foil. This will give a more antique look to the end results.
Ink up one side of your embossing folder with Versamark ink. Place the cardstock foil side facing the inked up side of the folder and run through the Big Shot to emboss the layer.
Sprinkle some Copper embossing powder randomly over the parts of the embossed layer. Shake the excess powder off. Repeat the process with the Gold embossing powder. Heat with the heat tool.
If you feel you need a bit more of the copper and gold on the layer just tap the versamark ink pad directly on the foil and repeat the heat embossing process.
Complete the card by layering the embossed layer onto a 5” x 3 ¾” piece of Delightful Dijon cardstock, add the banner greeting and then pop it up on the 5 ½” x 8 ½” (folded in half) Basic Black cardstock base.
Love it!
Hope You Enjoy,
