Today I am sharing the double pouch folder card we made at my November 2015 FMN class. I learned this fun fold from Di Barnes. Each person at class got to choose a piece of 12″ x 12″ DSP from the Season of Cheer designer paper to create their pouch so each one was different.
The card inserts just slide into the pouch on each side of the folder. I love this as it gives a great place to tuck a gift card and still write a note if you like.
The pouches are also make a great place for a gift card or some Holiday cash.
I just had to add some bling to my holly berries with the cherry cobbler dazzling details. Be sure when using dazzling details that you give it plenty of time to dry.
To create the pouch:
Score at 2″, 6″ & 10″
Turn your paper 90 degrees and score at 2 1/2″ & 8″.
If you are using a double sided designer paper, position your paper so the print you desire to display on the outer left side of the folder is facing you. As you make your folds use your bone folder to create a crisp crease.
Fold along the 2″ and 10″ score line.
Open back up and fold each corner stopping at the score line.
With the corners still folded re-fold along the 2″ and 10″ score line.
Flip paper over and fold along the 2 1/2″ score line.
Fold along the 8″ score line.
Tuck the wider section inside the narrower section.
Fold the folder in half along the 6″ score line to complete the folder.
Hope You Enjoy,
