For today’s hop I decided to make a simple pocket card in neutral colors using the Detailed Floral thinlits. I love the beautiful look this set of dies create.
I backed the front pocket with some Vellum cardstock to add a delicate touch.
For the inside card I decided to do a full card rather than a flat card so I could add a note as well as a gift card.
I love the variety of elegant words the Falling for You stamp set offers. This layout and stamp set could easily be used for an anniversary card as well.
Card Layers:
- 9″x 4 1/4″- score at 5 1/2″ Sahara Sand cardstock- die cut the pocket
- 4 1/4″ x 3 1/2″ Vellum cardstock
- 10 1/4″x 3 13/16″-score at 5 1/8″ Sahara Sand card base
- 4 15/16″ x 3 5/8″ Pink Pirouette cardstock
- (2) 4 13/16″ x 3 1/2″ Whisper White cardstock
To create the pocket, I die cut the Sahara Sand cardstock as shown below with the Detailed Floral thinlits.
Next I adhered the Vellum cardstock layer to the back of the die cut pocket flap and then ran it thru the big-shot.
Finish the pocket by adding a few Basic Pearl Jewels.
