I had the pleasure of working on the December Paper Pumpkin Real Life kit with my good friend Amanda Coughlin this past week.
As we played with the pieces we decided to make a bit of an adjustment by cutting the height down to create it a 5 x 5 book.
I embossed the narrow scraps from the tabbed divider pages with the chevron folder and adhered them to the inside first page. I love how this shows through the cut out letters on the front cover.
Amanda had the fun idea of adding some clothing to the little people with the markers. So cute right?
I scored each of the inside pages at 5" and folded them up to create pockets. I used sticky strip to secure the sides of the pockets.
I did have to punch holes through some of the layers once I created the pockets to insert the rings.
I didn't take photos of every page in my book, but hope you can get a good feel for what I did based on what I am showing.
The folded bag created 2 pockets that worked perfectly to hold my tags.
I used 2" strips I cut from the tabbed divider pages to create four tags. I was able to center the punch over the existing hole and looped some ribbon through the top of the tags. Loving the new tag topper punches!
I tucked the extra die cut adhesives inside one of the pockets so they will be easy to find when I need them.
I hope you feel inspired and have fun playing with your December kit! I can't wait to see what's in store for us in January.
