Today I am sharing the swap card I made for the 2016 incentive trip featuring the new Swirly Bird bundle.
I was really pleased when I finished designing my card and then I quickly realized this was going to take me a bit of time due to the number of die cut pieces. I decided to just jump on in.
I started with a piece of 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Whisper White Thick cardstock folded in half for my card base.
I cut a 5 1/2″ x 1/4″ strip of Gold Glimmer paper and a 5 1/2″ X 1/2″ strip of designer paper. I adhered the designer paper to the glimmer paper strip with liquid adhesive.
I used a 1/2″ strip of the gold confetti DSP from the POP of Pink Specialty DSP. Loving this paper pack.
I adhered the strip to the card front with liquid adhesive.
Next I stamped my greeting in Memento black ink and then added the first layer of die-cut flowers with the fine tip glue pen.
I cut out the leaves with the Rose Garden thinlits and adhered them to the front with the fine tip glue pen.
I adhered the second layer of die cut flowers with the fine tip glue pen and then clipped the excess pieces that extended past the card edge with my paper snips.
I finished the card by adding a bit of the clear Wink of Stella to the flower centers. Just love the Wink of Stella!
Hope You Enjoy,
