Today’s project is just one of the fabulous cards we created at my August 2021 FMN (Forget Me Not) Class that I hope will give you a little inspiration.
While the cutting of the layers to create the crazy quilted background looks complicated, it really is easy. I provided a cutting template to all club members to use as a guide, but you really could do anything you like. As you are cutting each of your layers for the “quilt” you are actually cutting four cards at once! Simply mix and match the patterns so each of the four card is slightly different in how the patterns are placed.
I showcased the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper (DSP) for the quilted layer. This must have paper includes candy stripes, plaids, snowflakes, scampering deer, and pine and birch trees patterns in classic Christmas colors of greens and reds-LOVE IT!
