Today I am sharing a card we made at my June FMN card class that was cased from Dawn Griffith. It is such a great card that the only thing I changed was using the glimmer paper for the stars.
Here is the card inside. I layered a piece of stamped 5″ x 3 3/4″ very vanilla cardstock on top of the 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of early espresso cardstock to the inside of the card.
To create this super cool banner cut start with a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ piece of crumb cake cardstock and add a faint score line 2″ in from the outside edge. Lay out the banner framelits as shown below.
Lay the cutting pad so it stops at the score line. This will allow you to cut the banners just along the outside edge.
Once you cut out the banners than you will cut away the cardstock between the banner cuts.
This is what the piece will look like after cut out.
Use the next 3 smallest banner framelits to cut out of the center of the 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of early espresso cardstock. This pi9ece will later be used as the layer on the inside of the card.
Adhere the espresso banner to the crumb cake layer as shown below.
Layer the banner cut layer to the card front.
Super cool right?
Hope You Enjoy,
