Today I am sharing a lovely Christmas card I created that was inspired by one I saw by Judy May.
Doesn’t this starry night just fill you with Christmas spirit?
I started with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (folded in half) Thick Very Vanilla card base. I covered the front of the card base with 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ Gold Foil paper.
I die cut the 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ Night of Navy cardstock as well as scraps of Garden Green cardstock with the Card front Builder dies.
The navy cardstock was backed with a 1-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ strip of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper.
I sponged the edges of the trees with Garden Green ink to give them a little more dimension.
The hills were created with the largest oval in the Stitched Shapes framelits.
The sentiment from the Star of Light stamp set on the inside of the card is stamped in Night of Navy ink.
I used the Paper Trimmer to cut a 3″ x 3″ square out of the front of the 5-1/4″x 4″ Thick Very Vanilla cardstock layer. This layer is popped up on the card front with foam strips.
I love all the dimension in the layers!
Hope You Enjoy,
