Today I am sharing a card we are making at our February Diemonds team meeting.
This fun peak-a-boo card features the Celebrate Today bundle and the Birthday Bash designer series paper.
The Night of Navy card base is cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 2 1/8″ & 6 3/8″ to create a gate fold.
The Crushed Curry layer is cut 5 1/2″ x 3 1/4″. I cut the ballon out and stamped the tail before popping it up on the inside of the card.
I used the largest shape from the banner framelits to create the sliding mechanism by placing it on a 3 1/2″ x 3″ piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock. Notice the points of the die are aligned at the very edge of the cardstock.
After I cut out the piece, I scored the flat end at 3/8″. I added sticky strip and adhered it to the inside card base before placing the Crushed Curry layer.
Pretty cool right?
