Today I am sharing a fun Valentine card with a cool front window I made using the Bloomin’ Love stamp set and coordinating Bloomin Heart thinlits. I love how the inside red layer shows through the window in the front.
This card was inspired by one I saw created by Julie Edwards.
Card Layers:
- 4 1/4″ x 11″ (folded in half) Basic Black cardstock card base
- 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic Black cardstock
- 4″x 5 1/4″ Real Red cardstock
- 4″ x 4″ Window sheets
- 4 1/4″ x 3/4″ Designer Acetate
- Scrap Real Red cardstock- stamp/die cut flowers
To create the window in the card front I die cut the large heart from the Bloomin Heart thinlits and cut through both the front of the card base as well as the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic Black cardstock layer. Tip: be sure when you cut the hearts out that they align between the two layers.
I adhered the window sheet to the inside of the card front with snail adhesive.
Next adhere the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic Black cardstock layer to the inside of the card front with snail adhesive, making sure to align the cut outs.
I adhered one of the die cut hearts to the window sheet on the inside of the card front with liquid adhesive.
I added dimensional dots to each of the solid flowers on the front side of the window sheet.
Add the second die cut heart to the card front.
Stamp and die cut two large flowers and three small flowers and adhere to the card front with dimensional dots.
Hope You Enjoy,
