Today I am sharing a fun wintry snowy card I created using the Snow Is Glistening stamp set and coordinating Snowfall thinlit dies that are part of the awesome limited products available in the Snowflake Showcase promotion. See full promotion details HERE.
The more I play with these products the more I just love them!
The background was stamped in Balmy Blue ink onto the 5-1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White cardstock layer.
I sponged the Balmy Blue cardstock die-cuts with Frost White Shimmer paint which gave such a nice soft appearance. This is a great contrast to the sparkly Silver Glimmer paper die-cuts. These die-cut snowflakes are so beautifully detailed and really add so much to the project.
The embossed sentiment was die-cut with the label die from the Petals & More thinlit dies. The piece of Metallic edge ribbon added a bit more interest behind the popped up sentiment.
Just a few Rhinestone Jewels to add the finishing touch.
Of course I had to stamp some snowflakes on the inside. You can’t leave your card naked-right?!?
