When I first opened the August 2016 Bold Botanicals Paper Pumpkin kit I was not sure sure about the color combo.
I went ahead and decided to make one of each of the cards pretty much as per the instructions. I was surprised how much I liked them once I got them together.
On the first design I just changed the way I stamped the Mint Macaron card base.
Since I had an extra Crumb Cake layer I cut it into strips and added it to the other 2 cards.
I love the little wooden embellishments.
Don’t these make such nice cards with a fall feeling to them?
The 2nd design was a 5″ x 3 1/2″ cards size and I made it as per the instructions.
I decided on the next 2 to change the card base to a full size card so I pulled out some Cajun Craze cardstock.
I wanted to have the same feel as the pre-printed card layers so I drug my Cajun Craze ink pad across the card base (direct ink to paper technique).
I also switched the Twine out for the Burlap Trim.
The 3rd card design is a little pocket card. It’s super cute, but here again for my personal use a full size card works better so I went ahead and used the pockets as my focal point on my full size cards.
On this first card I used a Tangerine Tango card base that I also did the direct ink to paper technique.
I cut the Mint Macaron pre-printed card bases in half to use as a layer. I still have 3 pcs left so I can make a few more cards!
The Bermuda Bay cardstock layered underneath is 5 1/8″ x 3 5/8″ to give a skinny border.
On the next card I used a Bermuda Bay card base and again added some texture to the card front with the direct ink to paper technique.
On the last card I also used a Bermuda Bay card base, but this time decided to break out the big shot and add texture with the Petal Burst embossing folder.
I added a couple of 2 3/4″ circle under the pocket to add a bit more color.
