When designing today’s project, I first focused on the floral focal point by layering the background and detailed masks, blending Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather inks.
 
I love the variation created with the masks and blending brushes..depending on the amount of ink applied, the colors turn out different every time. Super fun!

Next, I wanted a little bit of texture in the background so I used one of the patterns in the collection of masks, some Embossing Paste and Palette Knives to add some more dimension. Did you notice the paste matches the card base? I added a drop of So Saffron ink refill to my paste to change the color. LOVE IT!
