An Easy Way To Create Multi-Colored Images That Will Impress (Video)

Have you ever stamped an image and wished you could have multiple colors vs a single color? You can!

I have a fast and easy ( and I must say stunning ) card I created in my Tuesday YouTube LIVE featuring the refreshing Layering Leaves stamp set and coordinating Bough punch where I used two different techniques to add additional colors to the stamped images.

The first technique I used some Sponge Daubers with the more solid leaf image. First I inked up the image in Old Olive ink and then used a Sponge Dauber to apply some Mossy Meadow ink to add some wonderful color variation to the stamped image.

For the second technique, I brought in some Stampin’ Write Markers and colored directly onto the stamp surface to create my multi-colored image in Mossy Meadow and Berry Burst. Did you know Stampin’ Up! has recently re-designed the Stampin’ Write markers so they color even more beautifully than ever before. It’s true! I am especially excited about the changes with the fine point tip and how well it writes.

Pair this great set with the Bough Punch to quickly create naturescapes with a simple message to show how much you care all year long. The Two-Step stamped leaves allow you to add unique texture by layering the images-love it! And the sentiments are a bit larger than many of our sets, which I think is fabulous. These look great when cut with punches and/or dies or simply stamped directly onto the cardstock.
