Today I am sharing a lovely tonal card created for our team swap by Diemond Nancy Phillips featuring the Ribbon of Courage stamp set and coordinating Support Ribbon framelits.
Courage means so much to those who have it, and possibly even more to those who need it. Partner these encouraging phrases with an adaptable awareness ribbon for truly courageous message. This stamp set was inspired by Million Sales Achiever, Patty Bennett!
I love how Nancy created her background by stamping and then dragging her ink pad across (direct ink to paper technique) her 5 1/4″ x 4″ Vanilla cardstock layer. She even applied ink to her doily to give a nice tonal look.
The 1/2″ strip and die cut flower in Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper give a nice sparkle to the card. Not sure if you can see it in the photos, but she used the dauber to add a bit of Blushing Bride to the glimmer paper as well.
