Today I am sharing an adorable gift card holder that is perfect for your next baby gifting needs featuring the Tabs For Everything stamp set.
I chose some bright and cherry colors vs traditional baby colors to create my gift card holder.
The inside card just slides right out of the top of the pouch. I left plenty of room to add a little note for baby and mom.
On the back of the inside card I adhered my gift card with a couple of glue dots to hold in place until the card is ready to be used.
When using the Circle tab punch, I found it best to flip the punch over so I could line up my stamped greeting exactly where I wanted it and then punched it out. The tab just folds in half and adheres to the inside card.
To create the card base (pouch) I started with a 5″ x 7 3/8″ Berry Burst card base scored at 3 1/2″ and 7″. I cut 3/4″ away from the top of the card front, making sure to stop at the first score line.
Next I punched a half circle with the 1 1/2″ circle punch, stamped the card front and added the tear & tape along the far right tab to close the card. I added tear & tape along the bottom edge on the inside of the card as well to close the bottom, but forgot to take a picture of that one. Hopefully this makes sense when you try this on your own 🙂
