Today I am sharing a versatile masculine card I created inspired by a project I saw by Becky Roberts.
I started with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Crumb Cake cardstock folded in half for my card base. I stamped the coffee ring from the Timeless Textures stamp set in Crumb Cake ink randomly on the card base.
I used the Banner framelits to cut the largest 2 banners out of the Cajun Craze cardstock (largest) and the Timeless Elegance designer series paper (second largest). I then cut 3/8″ off the top of the banner pieces to make them slightly shorter.
To save some paper I cut my coffee cup out of the center of the Cajun Craze banner with the Cups & Kettles framelits. I then stamped the greeting from the Balloon Celebration stamp set on the cup in Early Espresso ink.
I cut the heart out of Very Vanilla cardstock and adhered it to the back of the cup with a glue dot.
I tied an 8″ piece of Gold Bakers Twine to the handle of the cup.
I embossed the 5″ x 3 3/4″ Basic Black cardstock layer with the Decorative Dots embossing folder.
Once all the pieces were ready I put the card together.
Adhere the banner pieces together with snail adhesive.
I added two dimensional dots to the back of the cup to adhere it to the front of the banner.
I cut a large Metallic Doily in quarters and adhered one piece to the back of the banners.
I then added dimensional dots to adhere the layer to the black layer.
I adhered the layers to the card front with dimensional dots to complete the card.
