I love when I can expand the use of my crafty tools to provide more value.
Today I have an adorable Gift Card holder I created in my Tuesday YouTube LIVE where I used the Songbird Builder Punch to create some super cute baby birds chirping on a sunny afternoon. This fantastic punch allows you to create flocks of multi-colored birds in seconds.
This project could be used for so many celebratory occasions, but my favorite would be to welcome a new baby to the family.

I created the little baby birds tucked into the nest with the punched breast panel of the bird in Pool Party cardstock, added the Calypso Coral beak and stamped one eye with Memento ink. SO stinkin’ cute!
Did you notice the bright sunshine in the upper corner? I cut that out of Daffodil Delight cardstock by punching a portion of the bird body. The straight line from the Sweet Songbirds Stamp Set made it super easy to add the sunrays.

Project Layers:
- 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Pool Party cardstock
- 4″ x 3″ DSP
- 3-5/8″ x 9-3/4″ scored at 4-7/8″ Basic Black cardstock
- 3-1/2″ x 7″ scored at 4-3/4″ Basic White cardstock (inside)
- 2-1/8″ x 2-3/4″ Daffodil Delight cardstock- punching/die cutting
- 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ Basic White cardstock- die cut whimsy
- 2″ x 2″ Crumb Cake cardstock- fussy cut
- Scrap Calypso Coral cardstock (with adhesive backing)- punch 3 beaks
- 1″ x 5-1/2″ Pool Party cardstock- punching
- Approx. 10″ ribbon
