Today I am sharing a super cute card I made for my sweet grand-baby Aurleigh for her first birthday. I love the embossed polka dots on the Whisper White layers.
I stamped just the front elephant image from the A Little Wild stamp set in powder pink ink on the card inside and then embossed the greeting from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set in gold powder.
Card Layers:
- 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (folded in half) Powder Pink cardstock
- 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″ Whisper White cardstock
- 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″ Powder Pink cardstock
- 3″ x 4 1/4″ Whisper White cardstock
- 4″x 51/4″ Whisper White cardstock (inside)
I created the letters with the Big Shot and the Large Letters framelits. I cut out 3 sets in Thick White cardstock and 1 set in Powder Pink cardstock. I cut the O out of Gold Glimmer paper, the N out of the Pop of Pink Specialty designer series paper (currently on the clearance rack) and the E out of Powder Pink cardstock.
I stacked and adhered each of the letters together to give a nice raised look so they would really stand out on the card front.
I am hoping my daughter can cut the card in half and use it in Aurleigh’s scrap book!
