Today I am sharing another festive Holiday card I made using the Carols of Christmas early release products. Do you love the traditional red and green poinsettias?
The gold Metallic Shapes were perfect to give the flower centers some nice bling.
Card Layers:
- 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ (folded in half) Thick White cardstock
- 4 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ Real Red cardstock
- 4″ x 4″ Shimmer White cardstock
The Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies help you create beautiful detailed die cuts in a flash.
To die cut the 4″ x 4″ Shimmer White cardstock you will need to run the poinsettia border dies through twice to cut all four corners.
I also used the dies to cut out the images in Garden Green cardstock. I used the “trash” to layer behind the leaves of the Shimmer White layer.
For the focal point, I stamped the greeting on a 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ piece of Shimmer White cardstock and then die cut with the largest circle from the stitched shapes framelits.
I also die cut a Garden Green scallop circle with the layering circles framelits to layer under the greeting on the card front,
The gold ribbon is wrapped around the card front between the two die cut circles.
Hope You Enjoy,
